Navigate for trucks now also directly from our app with Truckmeister Truck GPS. This navigation is specially developed for professional truck traffic and takes into account dimensions, weight, hazardous materials and road restrictions. Set your truck profile once, choose Truckmeister as default and you will always drive a route suitable for your vehicle.

From now on, you can include the set start times of vehicles when optimising routes. Useful if you work with multiple trips per day or fixed delivery moments. Simply tick the option when planning and the order and start times remain as you have set them. No extra work, but full control over your planning.

Do you use the appointment module? Then you can now set which vehicles are included in the planning first. Handy on busy days or for fixed trips. You determine the order, the software does the rest - with efficient routes and satisfied customers as a result.

Do you have routes planned automatically at set times? If so, you can now also receive an overview by e-mail immediately after each planning. You can see at a glance who is driving which route, with which vehicle, and whether everything went well. More overview, without extra effort.

Does an order show more than one possible address? Then you will now see an exclamation mark as a warning. This tells you immediately that it is worth checking. Change the address manually and we will remember your choice - for even more accurate, error-free planning.

Since December, you see a progress bar (or loading screen) when you import jobs or have a route recalculated. You can now control how long that progress screen remains visible. You can find that setting by going to “Settings” in the menu and then “Schedule”.

With our latest add-on, you now plan automatically at fixed times. Set once when the planning should run, and the routes for the next day are calculated automatically.

A number of useful updates have been made to the driver app:

• Set default navigation: Now choose your favourite navigation yourself in the app settings. Your choice will be saved even if you switch accounts.
• Choose specific scan codes: Set which scan codes you work with yourself. Tip: keep it limited to avoid delays.
• View route map: See directly on the map which route you are driving that day.

Everything for more convenience on the road.

With our new appointment module, customers can now choose their own delivery time. The software works with smart time slots that are automatically matched to the most efficient routes. This means customers have freedom of choice, but without sacrificing optimal scheduling. Our software checks in real time whether a chosen time slot fits within the existing route. Even if a route seems full, an order from a neighbor can ensure that the route becomes even more efficient - this way planning remains optimal and flexible.

Select a vehicle and easily drag and drop assignments to an empty route. Unclassified assignments can also be added directly, for more scheduling flexibility!

By request, the chat function can now be found under 'Support' in the left column. Click 'I want to chat' to open the chat and simply close with the cross.

In addition to dragging a assignment, it is now also possible to move the assignment to another vehicle via the pop-up. This will display the vehicle, including registration number and description, followed by a drop-down menu with all assignments within that vehicle.

With the ‘Multiple trips on 1 day’ module, it was already possible to plan several trips per vehicle per day. For users of this module, it is now also possible to manage time slots in the planning screen.

During import, it is now visually displayed that processing is in progress. In the log, the progress can be monitored and you can see whether any actions have been started, in progress or completed. Any errors are also reported here. The log can be minimised or closed.

Now quickly search by name or order number to find the vehicle with the relevant order.

On the dashboard and route page, you can now quickly see a vehicle's registration number and description by hovering over the tooltip.

Major improvements have been made, including faster drag-and-drop of jobs, smoother route loading times and smoother scheduling.

Now highlight one or more routes during planning. Clicking on the eye icon in the right-hand column collapses the route, making planning with multiple vehicles even clearer.

Webhooks no longer need to be set up manually, as it is now possible to create them via the API.

It is now possible to lock and unlock all routes with one click.

Did you delete a route but still want to use the vehicle? No problem! Vehicles previously assigned to deleted routes are now automatically recognized by our software and can easily be reassigned.

In just 4 months, it will be time: January 1, 2025, is fast approaching, and that means zero-emission zones are becoming a reality. To help you as a business owner be well-prepared, we’ve updated the zero-emission zones in RouteLogic so you can see exactly if your route falls within one of these zones.

Optimizing routes and saving on staff and fuel is now easier than ever! With the new default setting 'With as Few Vehicles as Possible,' every route is automatically optimized to use the minimum number of vehicles. You can now set this preference as a default in the app, so you no longer have to take extra steps. Efficiency has never been more within reach!

One of the easiest ways to add tasks to RouteLogic is through the API integration. Over the past few years, RouteLogic has grown significantly, and it was time to update the API as well.

In recent months, we have worked hard on a new RouteLogic API. The new features make it even easier:

• Addition of Webhooks: This allows you to receive real-time notifications when certain events occur. Useful for automating processes and integrations.
• Working with QR/Barcodes: Start scanning your tasks in and out directly from the driver app.
• Separation of Products and Tasks: In API v2, products are now addressed separately from tasks. This makes it easier to update product information without affecting the related tasks.

Note: The current version of the API (V1) will be available until 31-12-2024 and will be discontinued afterward. If you are already using the integration, it is important to switch to the new API (V2) before 31-12-2024. Of course, we are happy to assist you with the transition.

It is now possible to plan multiple trips on the same day using the same vehicle without needing to create multiple routes. This way, you can see all the trips for your vehicles in one clear schedule. You can now set multiple time slots per vehicle, allowing you to easily schedule a morning trip and an evening trip (or even more) in one organized route plan.

Scan tasks when loading and unloading the vehicle without any extra hardware. Supports QR codes and barcodes.

You can now see how customers perceive your service on the statistics page.

If you’re using the API, it’s useful to know that several new features have been added:

• When sending an order, the customer's email is no longer mandatory.
• You can now send a reference number alongside an order number. This could be, for example, a batch order number or a description that makes it easier to find tasks in RouteLogic.
• You can now create recurring tasks via the API and optionally assign an end date to these tasks.
• Submit tasks with either an address or coordinates, useful when you don’t have an exact address.

You were already able to work with capacity. This feature has now been significantly expanded.

With this update, you can plan routes while accounting for three units of capacity, such as items, weight, and cubic meters (m³).

Additionally, the calculation now takes into consideration the available capacity of your vehicles and the return collection of orders. Returns are planned in such a way that there is sufficient space in your vehicles.

Now, see exactly how your vehicles are loaded. We also take return orders into account, ensuring there is always sufficient space available in your vehicles to collect returns.

With this update, not only will you see whether a driver is ahead or behind schedule, but also the expected end time of the route. This way, you’ll know exactly when the drivers will return and whether they can still make another trip.

You've created your plan but still want to make some changes to a task. No problem! It is now possible to edit the task on the right side of your planning screen, even after the plan has been made.

Although zero emission zones are not yet final, we at RouteLogic are already capitalizing on them. We see more and more companies buying (carrier) bikes or similar vehicles to deliver orders. Therefore, it is now possible in RouteLogic to also plan routes for (cargo) bikes!

Keeping your customer well informed is very important. From many users we received the request to customize the messages sent to customers. That's why we completely revamped the notification templates. The benefit for you? Even more flexibility and an even better informed customer.

The texts in SMS messages, e-mails and on the track & trace page can now be adjusted to your wishes. You can immediately see what it will look like for your customers in the live preview!

Drivers now have the option of sending an internal message in addition to a message for the customer (visible on the track-and-trace page). For example, if the delivery was successful but something special needs to be passed on internally. Messages and photos can be found quickly as a planner. You can find the photos and messages via assignments, via routes and in a new section "Messages". Read more about it in this article.

If you determine the order of your assignments in a route then you may not meet the time windows you have agreed with your customers. If an assignment is scheduled outside the agreed time window we now indicate this clearly.

Besides the fact that you can already set a speed for a vehicle, you can now do the same for a driver. Novice or, for example, older drivers need a little more time. This way you give them the chance to do their work at an acceptable pace.

It is also possible to speed both the vehicle and a driver. You can clearly see in each route your speed setting for the route.

The first route optimisation software in the world, RouteLogic now allows you to plan your electric vehicles. Depending on your range and the length of your route, we look for one or more charging stations on your route. We show you how long you need to charge and always plan charging stations as close as possible to your route. By working with smart charging strategies, you save a lot of time, your driver knows exactly where and how long he needs to charge and your customers still receive a correct and accurate arrival time by text message or e-mail. 

Also for mixed fleets. It is possible to combine different vehicles (electric or not) in one clear schedule. That way, you maintain an overview and know for sure that your logistics operation runs smoothly.

Although zero-emission zones have not yet been finalised, RouteLogic is already prepared for them.
See on your dashboard how many of your assignments will fall into a zero-emission zone in the future. 

When you create your routes, you also see a label (ZE) next to each job that falls into a zero-emission zone.

As soon as zones are finalised or change, we update this in RouteLogic for you immediately.

Any address that falls into a zero-emission zone is automatically recognised by us and only implanted on a vehicle suitable for entering a zero-emission zone.

When importing jobs with an Excel, we now clearly indicate how many jobs will be imported and how many jobs we may not be able to import. We also indicate which jobs cannot be imported and why. With a new feature, it is even possible to automatically give all jobs a default value when importing (e.g. give all jobs 5 minutes service time).

Make sure your drivers start their route on time and set a push notification. The notification arrives on the driver's phone a few minutes before the route is due to start. You set how many minutes before the route is due to start the notification is shown. You can read how to set it up here.

• Now also easily navigate to your start and end addresses of the route.
• Parts of the GPS location improved and made clearer.
• Now also send a link in your notes. The link can be opened by the driver. Useful if, for example, you want to show the invoice, assembly instructions or packing note to your customer.
• The signature field has been enlarged. More space for beautiful artwork.
• You can now select photos from your photo library and add them when completing your order.
• We now show the order number everywhere.

Even if you communicate well with your customers, your customer service staff will get questions. You can now give your customer service staff access to RouteLogic. They can view everything in RouteLogic but not change or delete anything. This allows your customer service to respond quickly and proactively to customer queries. Everything for even happier customers!

Have you added a photo to your drivers? Then you can show them on the Track & trace page. For privacy reasons, you may not want to show the driver's name in full. For that, there is now the "Public name". Now choose which name your customers will see on the Track & trace page. You can read more about it in this article.

To measure is to know! Once an order has been delivered, your customers can share their experience. The number of stars and the extended reaction gives you insight into how you can further improve your delivery experience.

You can enable this functionality in your account at "settings > Track & trace". Would you like to be immediately informed of customer reactions? Then set an e-mail address to which we can send a new review.

The Track & Trace page is now also available in English. We automatically determine (based on the visitor's browser language) in which language we display the page.

It is also possible for the visitor to change the language at the bottom of the page.

In routes and assignments, new filters have been added to make it easier to find assignments and routes. The archive has been removed as this function still caused some confusion in some situations.

For routes, it is now possible to filter on: all routes / active routes / deleted routes / expired routes. Active routes are all routes that are in the future (still to be driven) and expired routes are routes that have a date in the past.

For assignments, it is possible to filter by: all assignments / scheduled / unscheduled / deleted / delivered / delivered or pickup unsuccessful. Using these filters with the date filter, you can quickly find jobs that were not delivered or scheduled in a certain period. This way, you won't overlook a job anymore.

There are situations when you still want to modify the most optimal route we calculate for you yourself. It is already possible to change the order of assignments yourself, add rush assignments and drag assignments to another vehicle. From now on, it will also be possible to reverse the route order if you think this is more convenient in your situation.

Draw a box on the map to select assignments in this box (or just outside it). Select 1 or more vehicles with which you want to take these assignments away. Now click on "calculate route". Once the route has been calculated, you can "lock" the vehicles.

After locking them, draw another box on the map with other assignments you want to plan a route for. Then select the vehicles you haven't planned and click Calculate route. You have now entered the desired assignments for each vehicle. Watch the instruction video here..

- We have added support to use the app in English.
- When you complete a task, you now automatically navigate to the next task.
- In the overview of assignments, you can now also see the city associated with the address.
- As in every update, some minor issues and improvements have been made.

Update the APP to take advantage of these new features.

It is now possible to add a job once and set a return pattern for it.

For example, if you want to deliver an order every week on Monday, you can now easily set this up. The job will then automatically show up in your schedule every Monday so you can schedule this job. You can find this setting when you open an order and click on "advanced settings". In the overview where all your jobs are listed, you can recognise recurring jobs by the little clock in front of the ID number. You can also filter assignments more easily on one-off and recurring assignments. 

For recurring assignments, you sometimes want to take photos and ask for a signature. This is also possible with recurring assignments. Photos and signatures are saved with the job for each delivery moment so you can view them at any time.

Now also see on the dashboard whether a vehicle has started its route. Handy to also keep an overview in the morning of whether drivers start their route on time and be able to intervene early. The main reason that orders are not delivered on time as agreed is late start of a route by the driver.

In some cases, not all assignments you want to deliver fit into your route. This may be because there is not enough capacity, the vehicle is not suitable for the job (tag), there is not enough time available because a specific time slot has been chosen, for example. 

As soon as you create a new schedule now, you will also see there all the assignments you tried to schedule earlier but for whatever reason did not fit into those routes. So you can be sure you won't overlook any assignments and when creating a new schedule you simply select all the assignments that still need to be done to schedule those assignments.

We have made the calendar you can open in RouteLogic a bit clearer. The distinction between weekdays and weekend days has been made larger so that it is clearer.

Plan your route and "lock" 1 or more vehicles. These vehicles are then excluded from recalculation.

This allows you to add assignments or change the order of assignments in unlocked vehicles. When you now recalculate the route, we only calculate the route for the unlocked vehicles. The vehicles you have locked remain unchanged.

Importing Excel files has been made much easier. There are far fewer mandatory fields (just: ID, date, street name, house number, postcode and city) and we provide clearer feedback on what happens during the import of your jobs.
